Welcome to our practice website!

Dr. VanRaaphorst is a specialist in periodontics and implantology and has been practicing in the  Rochester area for the past 19 years.  Dr. Ramos is our new Associate.  Dr. Ramos is a 2010 graduate from the University of Detroit Mercy.  He recently earned Diplomate status with the American Academy of Periodontology.  A Diplomate is a periodontist who has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty and who is certified by the American Board of Periodontology.  Nationally only 33% of periodontists are board certified.

Both Doctors specialize in conservative treatment of gum disease, cosmetic procedures to aesthetically enhance your smile, and dental implants that can replace single or multiple missing teeth. We also diagnose and treat oral pathology.
 
Dr. VanRaaphorst is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Michigan Periodontal Association, Midwest Society of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration.  He is also a member and proud supporter of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce. 

Dr. Ramos is also a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Michigan Periodontal Association, Midwest Society of Periodontology  and Macomb's Young Dentists.
 
During your course of treatment, we will work closely with your general dentist, but a referral by a general dentist is not required to visit our office. We also welcome referrals from patients and friends of the practice.

Dr. VanRaaphorst  is extremely proud of his staff, which is comprised of caring and dedicated professionals. They ensure that the patient's clinical and administrative needs are met as efficiently and smoothly as possible.  We have staff fluent in Spanish and Arabic for those patients who would require assistance in translation.
 

Our goal is to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. We are here to listen to your questions and concerns and to help provide solutions leading to your better health.
